Advocating mental health awareness and empowering families across local communities.
We exist to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and promote understanding of mental health in our communities.
We support low-income families with resources, advocacy, and compassionate assistance when they need it most.
Our work is inspired by Daniel’s life, ensuring his story creates hope, healing, and lasting impact.
Daniel’s Notes is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising mental health awareness and supporting low-income individuals and families in Gaston and Mecklenburg Counties. Founded in 2018 in honor of Daniel Edwards, our organization exists to turn lived experience into meaningful community impact.
We believe mental health support should be accessible, compassionate, and stigma-free. Through education, advocacy, and direct community support, we work to ensure men, women, children, and veterans are not left to navigate mental health challenges alone. Every initiative we lead is guided by empathy, dignity, and the belief that awareness leads to action.
Our programs are designed to raise mental health awareness, provide essential support to families, and empower individuals in our community to thrive. Through education, advocacy, and compassionate care, we turn awareness into meaningful action and lasting impact.
Our mission is to raise mental health awareness, provide compassionate support, and empower individuals and families to thrive within our communities.
We envision a community where mental wellness is prioritized, stigma is eliminated, and every individual and family has access to care, support, and hope.
